Inter-Institutional Teacher Education Council of West Michigan (ITEC-WM)

Mission

The Council's mission is to be a catalyst for networking and collaboration among future and current educators, implemented primarily through organizing professional development opportunities to enhance both equity and excellence in teaching, learning, schooling, and leadership.

About

ITEC-WM is a not-for-profit entity. It has functioned for the past 35 years as a consortium to assist student teachers, cooperating teachers, administrators, college and university faculty involved with student teachers / interns.

It is made up of one or more representatives from each university or college that places student teachers / interns in the K-12 schools in the West Michigan area.
